Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry - Travel - (Tele RN)
Vidant Medical Center is a fully accredited, 900+ bed regional referral facility encompassing a Level-1 Trauma Center and extensive inpatient and outpatient services including intensive and intermediate care, pediatrics, bariatric’ s, obstetrics and gynecology, surgery, pain management and psychiatry.
The Emergency Department is a 67 bed unit and includes a state of the art 3 bay trauma resuscitation area. They provide care for primarily adults patients with a variety of emergency conditions. It is part of a Level 1 Trauma Center, Primary Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center. They have on average 77,000 visits per year.
The Clinical Evaluation Unit (CEU) is a 10 bed Emergency Department which is a chest pain unit where staff there is observation status patients at low risk for acute coronary syndrome (ACS) are evaluated. CEU receives overflow of populations such as medical/monitored observation status patients as well as Regional ED chest pain patients. Nursing staff analyze cardiac rhythms on their patients; CEU is a monitored unit.
work 3 12-shifts/week, work 3 weekends out of 6-week period
RN to patient ratio 1:5
Cardiac outpatient /Monitored observation patient experience is preferred but not required.
Current Compact state RN or NC RN licensure required and as well as BLS and ACLS.
2-5years minimum preferred experience with telemetry
