Applying for a Minnesota nurse license and open yourself up to great assignments and peaceful getaways! The first step in the process is a visit to the Minnesota Board of Nursing website.
Applicants for an RN license have the opportunity to do so by examination or endorsement. Examination is for newly-graduated nurses, while endorsement is for RNs who hold an active license in another state. Nurses must submit a Licensure by Endorsement Application form or Licensure by Examination form and pay the non-refundable fees.
The fees are as follows:
Endorsement and Examination: The application fee is $105.00 and the Criminal Background Check fee is $33.25. The total due is $138.25.
