Job Description & Requirements

Registered Nurse - Outpatient Oncology - Travel - (RN-OPOnc)

Fast paced infusion center in a large academic teachin facility. The clinic sees 100 - 150 patients per day. The ratio in the OPD is 1:8. The ratio in the IPOP/HIPOP is 1:6. We are looking for a candidate who learned ONOCLOGY before they started traveling, preferably in a large academic environment. Must have a solid background in oncology, including classroom and precepted experiences. Should be well educated on basic oncology principles of care, oncologic emergencies, symptom management, sepsis, the deteriorating oncology patient, vascular access devices, peripheral access, and have general disease knowledge and have solid infusion chemo/immunotherapy experience.

BIO/CHEMO certification preferred Oncology certification preferred Travel Experience Previous experience at a National Cancer Institute Clinical Trial Experience
