"I worked with Olivia Thompson today on 4 west. She is a float traveler. We were covering each other for lunch and I had not had time to take a break because I was so busy with my patient who was due to go to CT scan. The patient was trached, vented, had 4 chest tubes that required portable suction for the trip, had multiple drips, and was very anxious. Olivia offered to take my patient to CT scan so I could sit down and have some food. She took my patient and I felt much better after eating. I have never had anyone offer to take a complicated patient to CT scan for me before and was very touched. I wanted to give her an Amazing Person recognition on the infonet but she is a traveler and not listed. I feel she went way above and beyond for me and feel she needs to be recognized."
