American Mobile Healthcare was first recognized by The Joint Commission with their Gold Seal of ApprovalTM for the Health Care Staffing Services program in 2005. American Mobile Healthcare is the first company in the United States to be certified as part of a corporate review. This broader certification provides for certification at multiple company sites. Certification acknowledges compliance with the Joint Commission's national set of consensus-based quality standards and demonstrates a commitment to excellence in providing health care staffing. Re-certification reviews are unannounced and are conducted on-site every other year. AMN Healthcare’s next re-certification will take place between June 8th and September 8th of this year. The review evaluates performance, continuing education and training, placement criteria and other areas. The Joint Commission’s Health Care Staffing Services (HCSS) Certification Program provides an independent, comprehensive evaluation of a staffing firm’s ability to provide qualified and competent staffing services.
